Children, youth, community and faith leaders took their message to SuperBowl City. SuperBowl City is an area set-up for football fans to mingle, listen to music and check out some of the technology offered by various commercial cell phone companies. Free concerts are also scheduled to occur at SuperBowl City. SuperBowl City takes up a lot of park space along the Embarcadero, and has displaced the homeless. It is common knowledge many residents in San Francisco don't want the SuperBowl events to occur in San Francisco because the set-up of it has relocated public transportation, caused massive traffic gridlock, and has negatively effected workers.

Justice for Mario Woods protesters gathered in Union Square and marched to SuperBowl City along Market Street. The minute the protesters entered onto Market Street the policed immediately began issuing commands "this is an un-permitted, or unlawful march. If you do not get on the sidewalk you will be subject to arrest."

The group was stopped by a police line one block from SuperBowl City. They were ordered off the street by SFPD. Eventually the protesters were able to get to SuperBowl City. Some of them stayed behind at 1st and Market chanting and blocking the street.

This should be done everyday through Feb 7, but at the very least, it should occur again on Saturday, February 6, and for that one, the event should be on this site's calendar so we all know about it and so there are more people at this protest. One thing is glaringly obvious from these pictures: The millions or even thousands of Stupid Bowl fans who were supposed to attend this garbage are not there, which is no surprise, but this lie should be highlighted. No one in their right mind goes to the Financial District of San Francisco if they do not work there and most offices are closed on the weekends, and no one wants to be caught in crowds or bumper to bumper traffic. The nearest parking garages are Sutter-Stockton and Fifth and Mission, both at least a mile from this theft of our tax dollars. Thus, the entire destruction of our bus service in this area and all the surveillance cameras, both the TV Kiosks which were photographing people Friday night, Jan 29, 2016, on Market Street and the many spy cameras on the streets that are closed to traffic is all to promote a police state under the cover of promoting an advertising gambling racket on TV. This is all proudly brought to us by the Democrat-Republican Party. I hope all the adults in these pictures are registered Peace & Freedom or Green, the only 2 anti-police state and anti-gambling racket parties on the ballot.
