Tickets - $10 pre-paid or $15 at the door, $3 for children under 12

Maquila workers in Ciudad Juarez are rising up. They have been striking
at four factories and maintaining around-the-clock encampments outside
factory gates. Workers are standing up for their rights and protesting
exploitation, sexual harassment and denial of union recognition.

This is a benefit event for organizing work in Ciudad Juárez and work in
San Francisco to expose the effects of free trade agreements.

Los trabajadores en las maquilas de Ciudad Juarez están luchando por sus
derechos laborales. Están de huelga y manteniendo campamentos día y
noche afuera de cuatro maquilas. Siguen protestando la explotación, el
acoso sexual y la negación de reconocer el sindicato. Este evento busca
crear conciencia y fondos para sostener los esfuerzos para organizar en
Ciudad Juárez y exponer en San Francisco los efectos de los "Tratados de
Libre Comercio".
