Anti Eviction Demonstration at Sleep Tight in Santa Cruz

The tenants at the Sleep Tight apartments on Ocean Street may be forced out of their homes because the City has determined the buildings to be legally uninhabitable. However, the relocation money the landlord is legally required to provide them has not come. If these tenants are evicted without relocation benefits, they face houselessness and living out of their cars.

Join us on Tuesday, when we believe the city inspector will return, to tell the city not to evict these tenants unless they can insure relocation money!
