At Showing Up For Racial Justice (SURJ), we believe that when regular people come together, we can pull off BIG things. Summer Lee has consistently championed our movement's priorities in Congress on issues ranging from: housing justice, expanding healthcare, climate justice, taxing the rich and so much more. And because her rise poses a real threat to the power of the far right and the billionaire class, she's being viciously attacked.

We need to show up for our champion at this moment. We need to balance the playing field with our people-powered organizing might. HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT:
TRAINING 🤓: Come as you are! We'll provide new phone bankers with a deep dive training on the contours of the race, how to have effective conversations and how to use our dialer tool. Experienced Phone Bankers can start early.

SUPPORT 🤗: We've got your back at every turn. We'll have trained coaches and tech support leaders on hand to support you, you'll have opportunities to practice, and we have a positive culture of encouragement and care.

WHO WE'RE CALLING ☎️: SURJ (the lead partner of this phone bank) works to bring white people into the fight for racial & economic justice. As such, we'll be calling a strategic slice of white electorate on this phone bank.
