Roadless areas are also on the chopping block for the SIskiyou WIld Rivers area, one of the most botanically diverse national forests in the country....

May 2005AD Berkeley critical mass
A group of approximately 130 cyclists (above recent average!) left Berkeley BART plaza, started on its usual route down Shattuck then Ashby then Telegraph, and by the students having commencement ceremonies before their final exams (which they could fail if they don't study hard). Then the ride proceeded down every major street in Berkeley, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly. Berkeley police are not stopping rides....

Grow Jojoba and Decommision Klamath Dams in 2006
If Klamath Valley farming collectives would grow jojoba, tepary bean and other CA drought tolerant natives, then there would be no need for maintaining the expensive dams on the Klamath River. The Klamth dams' FERC license expires in 2006, decommision dams and restore Klamath for salmon!!...
